The Corvette and Oreca will receive updates in short order and are currently being tested thoroughly by drivers in the Assetto Corsa Racing League.
Things to expect from the upcoming update include:
Corvette DP:
- Engine power and drag adjusted for newest AC version
- Anti-Roll bars redone
- Traction Control programming redone
- Tire grip, reaction, and temperature generation completely redone. - missing the effects of brake temperature on core heat because AC doesn't support it - will be added as soon as the option exists.
- Aero completely redone, LDF configuration now selectable via the aero page (visually and physically modeled)
- Dampers and bumpstop ranges changed
- Differential settings redone to match reality more closely
- Engine idle now being done correctly (it will be strange when in neutral/stationary - airflow isn't simulated in AC, so getting to and from the idle rpm will take a long time, but that's not important when in gear)
- Brake pressure option added
- Various bug-fixes
- PNG files changed to DDS
Oreca FLM09:
- Engine updated to more or less match current specification
- Fuel consumption adjusted to match real life data
- Aero updated
- Anti roll bars redone (motion ratio was backwards)
- Differential settings redone to match reality more closely
- Engine idle similar to Corvette
- Brake pressure option added
- Traction control added to reflect changes to the real car - its programming will directly correspond to that of the teams we work with
- Tires updated (they're the same as the Corvette's as per the real life regulations)
- PNG files changed to DDS
- Various bug-fixes
