Just a heads-up:
Some stuff changed in the physics code for the next game update. So once it's released, the car likely will crash the game. I'll fix it as soon as possible after the game update is released (14 hours -ish).
Talking about the corvette.
Time for announcement number 2 out of 3 on Thursday, July 17, 2014.
For this announcement, we talk about another modder that quietly joined our group only a few weeks ago.
You may know him for his professional 3D modeling for various games, or for his Nissan Primera project on the official Assetto Corsa forums.
Patrik Marek has recently started the Porsche 911 (991) GT America and has made good progress with the use of very good references. As with the Oreca, it was only started around a week ago, so still very early, but already looking great!
The 911 GTA competes in the slowest class of TUSCC, GT Daytona, or GTD. Competing with BMW Z4s, Ferrari GTs, and much more.
- More to come. -
For the first part of our announcement trio for this week, it's a W.I.P car.
Over the recent weeks, we've had a few group members come and go very quietly. One of which, is Paule_NLC. Known for his work with the VLN 2009 modification, he brings his skills to IER, with the Oreca FLM09, a.k.a the LMPC car.
Worth noting: The car is still early in progress. It was only started a week ago.
More to come.

Current known issues:
Dallara will likely crash showroom on exit due to (at the moment) unknown issue.
Dallara does not have bespoke physics for V0.3 (more data needed for realistic changes to be made)
The model is equivalent to the 2nd LOD, the first one will be much smoother around the edges, and nicer to look at, so keep that in mind. And there isn't really an interior yet.....
The AI are wonky. They're being worked on by the devs at the moment and the ai files will likely be changed. So it's on hold for the time being.
There are NO LODs at the moment, so the car will be much more taxing on your PC than any of Kunos'.
All driver errors.....We know them.....Especially bad now (0.3)
-new static shadows
-new interior sounds
-new physics (tires, suspension, aero, and more)
-better optimized textures (more FPS, yay!)
-adjustable brake bias added
-tire damping changed
-Accurate physics and liveries
-Different chassis versions (Dallara (left hand drive), Coyote (right hand drive), and Riley -Riley to come in future update)
-a free soda (okay that one's a lie)
We hope you enjoy the first originally created car for AC!

Our forum thread just ticked over 100,000 views. In celebration, the Corvette DP High-Downforce car will be released as a public beta when it is ready (soon™).
PAGE 100, POST 2000 OF THE UNITED SPORTSCAR CHAMPIONSHIP MODIFICATION FORUM THREAD HAS BEEN REACHED.
I'd like to thank everyone for their continued support and compliments, and the rest of our modding group for continuing to create the best product possible.
The Audi R8 GTD has been put in-game for physics testing. It's now the 3rd car the IER Group has added to Assetto Corsa; with many more to come.
Stereo has begun making the car "higher poly". -The edges are now smoother
The lack of recent updates was due to our group doing a lot of private testing of various cars in multiplayer.
Wing mirrors done.
It's nice to be able to look at the cars ingame rather than in the 3D program in render mode.
Not really sure what the circles are for, maybe to let a wrench get at the transmission's bolts. Except the transmission doesn't seem to stick out that far to the back... It's all part of the wing uprights though. There are a couple cross-pieces I haven't added yet, trying to find a better picture of one of them.
